The Power is On...Woohoo!

Our power finally came back on today around 5:00. Sam and I were with my mom when we got the call from Deloris (our neighbor) that the electric wasn't on yet, but the Duke energy crew were in my backyard removing a huge tree limb that was on top our main power line running into our house. When the guys were up in the trees what do you think came back on? Yeah, the power...pretty scary! Anyway, they removed the limb and all is well at the Powers household! We are so happy to be home, but owe a lot to my mom and dad for letting us stay with them this week. We had a blast, but like Dorothy says, "there's no place like home!"
