Sam has been battling a cold for about two weeks now. I didn't call the doctor because he wasn't running a fever. He did start on Friday...while Joe and I were at the track:( Anyway, I took him to the doctor on Saturday and he was diagnosed with an ear infection. Dr. Katz said it was a good thing I waited to bring him in because the ear infection was caught early. So needless to say we missed Andy and Em's cookout and dinner with the family for Mamo's birthday. My little man is starting to feel better:) Hopefully, next Derby Day will be better!
We bought this shirt for Sam at the track on Friday...I still wanted him to be somewhat festive on Derby Day!

Thank you guys for the Birthday wishes! I loved being with Sam on Oaks day just wish he would have been feeling better. Papa and I had plans for the day with him. Glad that he is on the mend.
